Medical Ethics and Professionalism among Medical Students in India

Background: Medical ethics and professionalism have been included in the competencies which an Indianmedical graduate should achieve to become globally relevant. This study was done describe medical andprofessionalism explore factors affecting it, among students India.Methods: A cross-sectional conducted undergraduate of India 2022; datawere collected using google documents analyzed SPSS v20.0.Results Conclusion: Two thirds participants were aware principles ethics. Medicalcollege lectures/seminars source for majority participants. Around 32.2% had conflictsin their school. Though 99.6% opined that patient deserve respect, only one third(34.3%) errors be shared patients. Prevalence consumption alcohol,smoking, drugs 5.6%, 3.1% 0.7% respectively.
